The second gathering on 3/10
The theme of the 2nd gathering was about the Regional Flag, which symbolises our unique identity as a Special Administrative Region of China. They learnt about the rationale behind the flag design and also had a hands-on experience in producing a mini-flag which serves as a reminder of their unique identify as a bookmark too!
The Reading Club members are encouraged to keep reading and assigned a task of picking their favourite book excerpts and sharing them using their beautiful voices at the next meeting.

The first gathering on 27/9
The theme of this gathering was about herbal tea, an important part of our cultural heritage. Participants did not only learn about the names and functions of different teas, but also had an opportunity to taste them one by one! Of course, they were also introduced to the new purchases of our library on Hong Kong’s cultural heritage, including 《我哋涼茶係正嘢》, 《再會老行業》and《我們的舊課本2: 讀書好時光》.
We hope the Reading Club can remind our boys that there is not only knowledge in reading but also joy!
